Partnership

The partnership is a collaboration between two higher education institutions (Thomas More in Belgium and BUas in The Netherlands) and the Danish organization MMEx supporting museums working with digital communication and experiences. All partners have complementary expertise they can transfer to the museums.

MMEx –
Center for Digital Interpretation in Museums

MMEx (www.mmex.dk) is an independent membership and non-profit organization who supports museums with knowledge about digital interpretation and project development. MMEx was created in 2012 by an association of museums in the Central Denmark Region.

By hosting a string of seminars MMEx work strategically on enhancing the digital competencies and skills of museums in all of Denmark.

MMEx consists of a team of experts in both digital and cultural matters.

Thomas More

Thomas More (www.thomasmore.be) is the largest university college in Flanders, offering over 30 bachelor programs in 7 study areas and 13 campuses in the province of Antwerp. Through state-of-the art education, applied research and scientific consultancy, Thomas More University College plays an important and strategic role in Flanders and the development of the region.

 

The More Media School offers bachelor programs, research and consultancy in journalism, communication, media & entertainment business and interactive multimedia design. Applied research activities focus on media & entertainment business, (digital) communication strategies and business model innovation. Students, lecturers, professionals as well as media users are involved in research activities. Thomas More has a proven track record in national and EU funded research projects.

BUas Breda (www.buas.nl) is an international University of Applied Sciences. With about 7,700 students from over 60 countries, it is one of the largest university of applied sciences of the Netherlands. BUas is the only university of applied sciences in the Netherlands that offers academically-oriented bachelor’s and master’s programmes in addition to professionally-oriented programmes.

 

ADE (Academy of Digital Entertainment) performs applied research on media, entertainment and games.

 

ADE has a proven track record in EU funded research and innovation projects.
